Our Story

After returning from World War II, our founder Jerry Levine started selling snacks out of the trunk of his car to neighborhood bars in Denver. Among his first hits? A bold, fiery snack he called the “Atomic Pickle”—a product that became legendary in its own right.

Jerry was a hands-on craftsman. He believed that quality wasn’t just an ingredient; it was a promise. His devotion to small-batch roasting, sourcing the best ingredients, and ensuring customer satisfaction set the foundation for what would become a Denver institution.

Over 75 years later, Jerry’s Nut House has grown into a respected manufacturer and distributor of nuts, trail mixes, dried fruits, and candies trusted by grocery chains, wholesalers, and foodservice professionals nationwide.

Today as the current owners & management, we remain deeply committed to the legacy Jerry built. Our mission is to protect the integrity of his original recipes, uphold the same small-batch quality standards, and bring that handcrafted spirit to every pouch, tub, and case that leaves our facility.
